Fabric Matters
Choosing the Right Fabric for DTF Printing
With DTF transfer, the type of fabric you choose greatly influences the final outcome. Let’s explore which materials work best with our DTF transfers for the best results.
Cotton
Cotton is one of the best fabrics for DTF transfers as its natural fibers absorb the ink easily, producing vibrant, durable prints.
Polyester
Polyester’s durability and moisture-resistant nature make it excellent for DTF transfers, allowing vibrant colors to stand out with exceptional clarity and sharp detail.
Cotton–Poly Blends
Cotton-polyester blends combine cotton’s softness with polyester’s strength, offering strong ink adhesion and reliable wash resistance to keep your designs looking fresh over time.
Canvas & Denim
Canvas and denim, valued for their strength and textured feel, offer a rugged surface that adds a distinctive, rustic character to printed designs.
Spandex & Nylon
Fabrics such as spandex and nylon can work with DTF transfers as well, as long as they’re properly chosen and pre-treated to help the ink bond effectively.
