Pressing Instructions

Equipment Needed

Heat Press
DTF Transfer
Desired fabric
Parchment Paper
Heat-resistant Tape

1. Pre-Press Fabrics

Pre-pressing is required to remove moisture or wrinkles and ensure a flat workspace.

2. Place Your DTF sheet

Place the DTF transfer sheet in the desired position flat on the garment and secure it with heat-resistant tape

3. Heat Pressing

Cover the garment with a protective guard sheet like Parchment paper to shield it from direct heat, then press for 15 seconds at 306°F using 70 - 80 PSI or medium-firm pressure. The heat will help activate the adhesive on the back of the sheet, allowing it to bond securely to the garment

Remove the garment from the heat press and let it cool for at least 30 seconds before peeling off the thermal tape. This cooling time allows the adhesive to set properly and bond securely to the garment

If the garment is getting scorched, first lower the pressure. If that doesn’t solve the issue, maintain the reduced pressure and decrease the temperature by 10 - 15°F

4. Final Pressing & Washing Instruction

After peeling the sheet, cover the design with parchment paper and press again for 15 seconds. This final press enhances durability

Always wash garments inside out with cold water on delicate cycle & Use low heat Air or tumble drying

Frequent queries

DTF Sheets Not Sticking Properly

Press again using more pressure and additional heat (+15°F). If it still doesn’t adhere properly, continue increasing the temperature in 15°F increments until the transfer applies perfectly

Design Cracking or Peeling on Washing

  • Always wash garments inside out
  • Use cold water on delicate cycle
  • Do not use bleach or harsh detergents
  • Use low heat Air or tumble drying
